Production Artist - November ‘05 - Present; Fast-paced, deadline oriented production of all print material for T. Rowe Price, including everything from inter-office business cards and letterhead to full-color retail brochures and fund reports for customers and investors. Position is primarily Mac based using Indesign, Quark, Illustrator, Suitcase, Flightcheck, Preflight, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel for inserts and chart data spreadsheets. Position requires attention to detail and skills in understanding markup, pre-press preparation and quality control, and ability to have a working relationship with designers and clients and to deal with any issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Production Artist - March ‘05 - November ‘05 (staffed through Aquent); full-time production position; building/editing K-12 textbooks. Schawk is a fast paced, quality oriented production house specializing in textbook production, contracted through large publishing companies like Harcourt and McGraw-Hill. Position required extensive knowledge of InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, and editing markup.

Kellyco Metal Detector Distributors, Winter Springs, FL
Graphic Artist / Photographer - August ‘98-August ‘04; full-time position in the Art Department of Kellyco Metal Detector Distributors, Water Creations, and Kellyco Water Gardens. Duties include: Design and layout mail order catalogs, 4-color ads, postcards, brochures, flyers, etc. using Adobe Illustrator & InDesign on Macintosh Computers; Photography and preparation of product photos for press and web, (color correction, clipping masks, web optimization, etc.) using Adobe Photoshop with various film & digital cameras and scanners; Illustration of product diagrams and logos using Adobe Illustrator; extensive design input and graphic creation for Kellyco’s internet department supporting multiple websites; Preparing and organizing of pages and separations for final print. Maintenance, troubleshooting, debugging, repair and general updating of the Macs and other peripherals.

Digital Arts Lab Assistant - Fall ‘96-Spring ‘98 - Duties were to maintain the specialized Mac lab designed for Digital Arts Majors and students in Digital Arts courses. Lab assistants were responsible for the safety and integrity of the lab, and also to aid students in need of help with software and hardware.
